As if children weren't scary enough already...

6.7 - possibly the most blood I’ve ever seen in a movie. Acting is solid, though the characters don’t all mesh. The location was under used. And it DEFINITELY should’ve been much tighter down the stretch. But it’s mostly fun, seems to know what it is, & does what it needs to do.

I actually liked a lot of scenes, but most of it is down to the choreography, cast, and creativity. I didn't like how every plot point was basically ruined by the marketing and how the pace kept switching from slow to fast. The story wasn't really going anywhere, but the performances and comedy took this to places I didn't really expect. Loved the soundtrack and the closed off sets, made it feel homey. I was bored from how many times it cut from dialouge to action. Almost like they cut scene at every tense point. Angus, Melissa, and Alisha carried almost too hard.

The last act was horrible. I also feel that they needed WAY more people so we could see some gruesome kills. Other than that, the movie itself was just meh. Nothing memorable about it to be frank. It pretty much falls short on everything, but it’s an okay watch 6/10

Awful film but I was entertained. Watch dusk till dawn instead.

I loved this movie it was nice balance of comedy and thriller, sooo much blood and bodies exploding so hard that it throws you across the room lol its a funny movie with lots of different characters that are funny and annoying and some that pmo and simply a golden dolg

It was okay, though I wish I had watched the movie blindly. The mystery might’ve been more interesting if the marketing hadn’t spoiled the main twist. Also, Matthew Goode made a GREAT Dracula. I really want to see more of him if they make a sequel.

Towards the end the movie doesn’t know if Abigail is a child or more than a hundred years old and it’s embarrassing. Her being a ballerina doesn’t add anything to the story, it’s there to make you laugh because they couldn’t pull off a solid horror movie.

Think of a survival countdown as amusement park haunted house, playing out in a grand old manor that could have come out of the 19th century... punctuated by gleefully sardonic set pieces and bursts of crimson effluvia.

One of the best vampire movies I’ve ever seen! Vampire and slashers are my favorite horror movie genre so I can be a hard critic when it comes to these types. But man! This was fun and bloody! Loved the mix of scary and comedy in this! Very hard to make those work together. 10/10

1st watch: wasnt that memorable but it was still good

2nd: it was actually really good, rewatched this purely for angus cloud, too bad he was the first one to go😭 the plot was good, the twists and soundtrack were the best part.

A really well written modern day interpretation of vampirism.

Abigail is a fast, fun horror-thriller about kidnappers who pick the wrong girl. It’s bloody, tense, and has a few cool twists. Good for a quick, entertaining watch.

Definitely one of the most awesome girly vampire horror movies.
