The Elixir Reviews

A gory foreign Horror flick that introduces a few explosive distractions amidst a serious lack of logical reactions.

just no, the plot had potential, executed not so good, acting was meh, only good part was the zombies really, i just found it quite shit if you get me, 2.5/10

The Elixir proves once again why foreign movies never disappoint. There’s something about international horror that isn’t afraid to get weird, intense, emotional, and completely unhinged—and this movie understood the assignment.

Without giving anything away, The Elixir takes an intriguing concept and gradually turns up the tension until you realize you’re completely invested in whatever madness is coming next. It has that perfect combination of horror, suspense, emotion, and “what the hell is happening?!” that keeps you glued to the screen.

What I loved most is that it doesn’t feel like the same recycled horror story we’ve seen a hundred times. There’s personality behind it, the atmosphere works, and just when you think you know what kind of movie you’re watching, it reminds you not to get too comfortable.

Foreign movies really do hit differently. The Elixir was creepy, entertaining, unpredictable, and exactly the kind of horror movie that makes taking a chance on something outside Hollywood completely worth it.

Definitely recommend going into this one knowing as little as possible.

Meh

really bad tbh

pretty good

the characters were annoying me to no end the entire movie, but i enjoyed this regardless.

Very good "zombie" movie. Very entertaining and fast pace. Worth the watch

A bloody and chaotic zombie movie with intense action, creepy visuals, and a really cool Indonesian setting that makes it stand out from typical zombie films.

The family drama adds emotion, but the characters decisions are frustrating and stupid.

7.5/10👍🏽

I haven’t finished the movie but I do like it. What I absolutely hate is every character decision like HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN A ZOMBIE MOVIE BEFORE?!?

8/10

tbh lumayan lah buat film zombie pertama indo yg ngasi atmosfer tegang, sayangnya tu latar belakang si jamu kaga di jelasin lebih detail

okay so... the movie after all wasn't that bad the acting was okay same as the zombies it was pretty cool for some things the music at the end fantastic the only thing is that the characters were literally so stupid... like serious is a movie that makes u scream at the TV... 6/10
