Because it’s the first movie ever created (1902), you shouldn’t expect much. Plot was basic but it was cool looking back on history to see the creation of movies. As a movie itself, it’s a 4/10 maximum because of the quality and plot. But for it’s time, it’s a masterpiece

Literally sci-fi before sci-fi was cool. Moon dudes, exploding rockets, and that iconic face shot?? Georges Méliès popped OFF. Peak 1900s VFX, no cap. 🚀🌝✨
