This was insane!! A Toxic Love Story is one of the most disturbing true crime documentaries I’ve watched in a long time. Ian and Angela are two incredibly twisted people who manipulated, lied, and completely destroyed Michelle’s life for their own selfish reasons.

What. The. Hell. Plot twist after plot twist after plot twist, such a good documentary!!!

This was the craziest documentary I've seen this year. When I thought I knew what was the case the whole story shifted, I can't believe the twist at the end. There really are some sick people out there.

Feels like this documentary was made by the ex girlfriend. It felt very biased. And while I don’t doubt the ex boyfriend was guilty, I think there is more to the story we’re not being told. I’d like to have him interviewed for his side.

just when you start to think you know what’s happening… you don’t. and then you start to think okay i get it now… actually you don’t! so crazy that this is true… netflix can we get more documentaries like this please??! lol so good!

Well this was a wild ride!! A very Netflix telling of the story, I want more! But it was good. Makes you think deeply about abusive relationships, psychopaths and sociopath and abusive relationships! Oh and how our legal system and judicial system is whack

This one had me hooked. Messy and intense, a crazy documentary.
The kind of story where you keep watching because you NEED to know what happens next. A lot of plot twist too.

lowkey a “meh.” this story is genuinely so terrifying and twisted but netflix told this in way that felt watered-down. there was little suspension, didn’t focus on how scary the husband is, and breezed past certain points

I reckon there’s much more to this story that we’ll never know. Interesting watch

Wow! LAWD was I stumped at multiple times. I mean I guess it teaches me a lesson in not judging till all the evidence is layed out. Thr fact that people like this live amongst us is a very scary thought. And to think I was hating on the police for not arresting the “stalker”

I absolutely loved this one, which feels slightly wrong considering how completely insane the entire story is. Every time I thought things couldn’t possibly get more bizarre, somehow they did. The manipulation, lies, obsession, and absolutely terrible decisions just kept piling up, and I was completely hooked.

This is exactly the kind of true crime documentary I love: a story so crazy that you constantly have to remind yourself these are real people and this actually happened. I went through about twelve different emotions watching it, most of them some variation of “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”

Completely dysfunctional, incredibly messy, and wildly entertaining from beginning to end. I couldn’t look away. Definitely one of the better true crime documentaries I’ve watched recently.
