The fact that this is the truth story and it seems like it still exists in this 20 century era but the media still blindly the truth is how sad the world is that never change. Love the storyline and cinematic intense emotions.

Hates way harder than the poster would have you believe. This is not a feel good drama, instead a harsh look at civil unrest and government corruption during the 1980 Gwangju Uprising.

i wouldve preferred if they went full drama instead. action during the protest sequences is understandable, but some other action sequences were unnecessary. still a very deeply moving and beautiful story. 8/10

nowhere near as wholesome as the poster makes it look

Didnt finish, was bored and know it couldn’t have gotten much better. The characters made no sense. The message it’s trying to get across is so obvious and not at all subtle. Such a unnecessarily long movie.

Mainly the characters just made no sense. Why refuse the money?

My sis and I cried alot watching this,,,the fact that it’s based on a true story hurts even more

i did NOT read the description so i thought it would’ve been something fun but this is an amazing movie about stuff that are happening up to this day. it’s brilliantly written and put together and the mc’s development was simply superb watch it asap pls

It touched me deeply. The sorrow, pain, and hopelessness that people went through broke my heart. However, the sincerity and bond between the taxi driver and the journalist were truly moving. The film was heartbreaking, yet it left a lasting impression on me.
