Brutal film that hacks away at you, limb by limb. But also makes you lean in. Solid.

This movie was fantastic. Definitely an under the radar movie. Really makes you think. what would you do? Billy Bob was good in this, more simple minded, not like sling blade, but simple. Bing paxton performance was pretty good, seemed like he was under acting at times.

Really exciting movie with a very good plot

My favorite subgenre, the "every-man who decides to risk everything he has for a little bit of money, but makes his situation worse and worse" subgenre.

Very good thriller.

This reminded me of "Fargo," since I watched that not too long ago. There's a lot of tension and suspense built in here. I thought it was heading in a certain direction, but there were many different turns.

I wish I could erase this from my memory. Profound pain in my heart.

One of Sam Raimi’s best and underrated films. So much tension and such great acting and writing. Highly recommended!
