If this has a million haters, I am one of them. If it has one hater, it’s me. If it has zero haters, then I’m dead. HATE THIS MOVIE. EXTREMELY overhyped and I can’t exaggerate it enough. The plot was alright but could’ve been executed WAY better. -10/10

This movies tackles the themes of regret, redemption, and depression in one of the most real and beautiful ways I've seen. 9.5/10

I got teary eyed

Hated it, people were awful, so much bullying and didn’t even end on a satisfying or good note. Just shows how this actually can happen to people and that humans suck ass

so so good omg. the fireworks scene gives me chills everytime, and the first time I watched it I was astounded. I felt empty after watching this movie, but in the best way possible

The best anime I’ve ever watch in my life

I suck at names. I liked the perspectives and nuance of the characters and the group. Some characters had less dimensions but it adds to making it feel more real. I do wish some translations were better but that could be due to the REAL streaming service I watched it on.

the type of movie that changes your whole outlook on life.

A silent voice has the best moral compass movie has ever had, there isn’t anything better than it. The direction it takes and how’s its developed really makes you connect with the characters from the get go and I appreciate that allot.

I think I cried like 4 times. Absolutely spectacular movie and possibly my favorite anime movies up there with ponyo

This is a well made, unfiltered, uncomfortable watch that tackles heavy themes in a way that is entirely raw, and while it handles this emotion in an effective way this didn’t land with me personally. The emotional core is rarely ever extending beyond the age of the characters, so it’s not that I didn’t care, it’s more that I found myself thinking about the messages differently than the characters… that or I struggle to feel emotion for anime characters. Everything else about this is pretty good, namely the characters and their designs, all unique and memorable each with something to do, nobody really felt left out. The music was fantastic and made the longer, more drawn out portions palatable. Overall this is definitely worth the watch, maybe not my kind of masterpiece but still of high quality. 3/5

My review has certainly changed since watching it a second time. I understood it more. Though my life is not like Shoya’s life I understand him deeply and can relate to many things he endures. Thus it hits exceptionally hard. 10/10

i am sooo sorry for saying this but this was sooo cringe, before you judge me hear me out: well the story was really good, and the animation as well BUT why was every character incredibly cringe and thir english voices and lines were sook bad

A beautifully crafted anime that conveys emotions with remarkable depth. The characters’ struggles, anxieties, and inner feelings are portrayed in such a genuine way that it stays with you long after watching.

Almost shedding tears late at night before bed is not what I anticipated, but here we are. Absolutely incredible, and the animation is up there being one of the best I've seen as of yet. It's crazy how our lead is introduced as a piece-of-shit bully, then fast forward to his redemption arc and watch him grow to be a better person.

Bully redemption movie.. where the bully does not deserve at all the sweet girl he bullied. Hate this one, don’t know why people love it so much .. 1.7/10
