I think they filmed this with a Photo Booth comic book filter. Haha!

Joking aside, pretty unique for its time but I feel like it’s not as mind blowing today. Story was good but I feel like it’s riddled with deeper themes if you understand the world of substance abuse. Cast is stacked and the soundtrack slaps. Stayed for the whole thing and wasn’t mad at it.

I enjoyed "A Scanner Darkly" with an open mind its unique style was new to me, and I don’t think it’s been replicated since. Packed with subliminal messages, it stars Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson, and Keanu Reeves. A fun, mind bending watch!

-Dope animation, dope music, dope cast, dope scenes.
-Very cool but can be very depressing.
-Existential crisis.
-Was extremely confused at first but it kept my attention and loved every second of it.
-Surprised me, and was nothing that I thought it was going to be.

This movie is pure art. It’s so unique and different from any movie I’ve seen. I have no idea how they filmed it but it’s amazing. I really liked the story and the way it was told although I had a hard time understanding it sometimes. But once I got it it was eye opening.
