Bro why was this movie so freaking sad why can’t you go off track a little from history and let them run away together or just live a happy life together

Watched this many times and cried all times

- Mads with long hair heals something in me, god I love it.
- okay interesting start. denmark ~1800. i like that.

- great historical drama. honestly really enjoyed it. an overall pretty decent movie. mads of course was brilliant, but all the cast to be fair were wonderful in this. very well executed. and hey, you learn a bit of danish history :)
