i watched this in my senior english class after reading the play and it’s so fucking good

I will say I liked the play version on YouTube better. But this movie was definitely good. The characters are casted and executed perfectly, the real life tension was very accurate and they followed the playbook to a tee expect for the parts of the story where they venture outside of the house which I think sets this apart from the playbook and the play.

Watched in ELA class was pretty fire

Sidney Poitier is incredible, but every lead here is worthy of being alongside him. This is a story of passion, determination, and hope adapted to perfection.

pretty good i had to watch it in english.

I read the play book before I watching the movie. Rare occurrence…rather first ever occurrence? It was interesting to see the modification, wether that being slight translated into the movie.
All in all, I’d really enjoyed this movie! The acting and film style were marvelous!

favorite movie of all time

Sidney Poitier is awesome, but it’s not just him, the whole cast of characters is what makes this a must watch.
