A Nightmare on Elm Street

If you can make a generation scared to go to bed you did your fucking job as a horror movie. As this is the only good one in this franchise, I loved it. This is proof you don’t need a big budget to make a good movie. Freddy was just scary dude. Plus good cast of characters. 8/10.

Finally watched this classic! Supernatural visual effects were cheesy, but there were a lot of iconic scenes. The most disturbing was the phone scene… Krueger is a pervert

Movies like nightmare on elm street remind me how older scary classics just hit different in a better way than most new horror movies cannot

Freddy isn’t debatably on the Mt Rushmore of horror, and the OG installment is all the proof needed. The acting doesn’t hold up, but the premise alone is still enough to illicit the nightmares worthy of being in the script. Fantastic kills, and pure horror.

Not an ounce of fat. Not big into the horror genre but the 80’s effects and Langenkamp’s cuteness kept me engaged. I get the hype.
