A film filled with so much childhood wonder, and I’m so glad it was part of mine. The storytelling here is peak. It comes with strong moral values, emotion, and magic. Great film for winter time and will always leave an emotional impact on me.

I love how genuine this film feels and it is so full of depth even though lighthearted. Amazing kid characters and the innocence of the story is creative and inspiring. Alfonso Cuaron hits and hits hard when he does his craft. All audiences can get something out of it.

One of those movies that kind of gives you hope that self-confidence is possible even at life’s lowest moments. Having faith in yourself even when everyone and everything is against you may be hard but it’s not impossible.

Very sweet. Classic story for kiddos. Especially young ladies. Sobbing by the end though.

Rips my heart open but boy do I love it!

I really loved this movie when I was a kid. Liked the plot and really liked the touching moments in this movie. I was satisfied with the ending of this film. I also recommend the book.

Grew up on this magical story of kindness. Like the kids POV. Sara was adorable and looked the part but felt a little flat on rewatch.

In his early stages of his career Cuarón delivers a moving picture of childhood and violence against it. And now I can see why they pick him for Harry Potter.

I had the dvd of this when I was a kid. The dvd disappeared but the memory of this film remained.

I prefer the Shirley Temple one
