6.6 - My favorite of the Branagh/Poirot mystery trilogy easily, but still kinda low overall. It fixed almost everything I didn’t love about the others - CGI, settings, cast/character interaction. But the story isn’t engaging. It’s almost all completely forgettable.

I’m a fan of whodunit stories with an inspector solving the case, and this delivers on that. The setting and characters are visually appealing. If you’re a fan of Knives Out, this has a similar vibe—but it’s not quite as strong.

A cinematically beautiful romp in the Poirot universe. A very classic feeling film.

finally got round to watching the third instalment, and it maintained my love for it! they really stepped up the cinematography on this one, it was weird at times but cool nonetheless. 7.5/10
