Very good movie… ending broke me to pieces. I honestly really liked sonny and c’s father/son relationship. Even though being involved with the gangster/mafia lifestyle and subjected to violence etc sonny still made sure c had his head on straight and kept him out of trouble.

i would’ve put that i loved it if only C didn’t call Jane’s brother a dirty stinky nasty nigger and then she just started talking to him like it didn’t happen. and this was 1993 like that was not long enough ago for that to be ok. but movie was good otherwise.

Been trying to get my friends to watch this for 6 months... finally I get my wish😌

Just watched this for the first time. Cs father and Sonny’s mottos in life couldn’t be anymore different but the way they both care for C is endearing and genuine. The way that Cs Father refused to call him C (only wanting to call him by full name) until the end 🥹.

Amazing movie. It feels nostalgic, even though i’ve never watched it before. The whole atmosphere is beautiful, and so is the soundtrack. The romance is so well done. This is such a classic. Speaks of the importance of honest work and the impacts of racism and hatred. 8,5/10

9.6/10 - Incredible acting and storyline. Written really well and performed well. The climax was great you couldn’t tell where the top was until a big character dies. Incredible watch on the 2nd time as well
