Watched on Film 4. A tale of Portuguese colonialism/Slavery and the Jesuit priests who tried to stop them (killing South American Tribes) Robert De Niro tries his best to provide interest in quite a long winded (but well acted) affair

The movie’s a little messy. It feels like multiple individual scenes following a rough timeline rather than a fluid movie. The story is interesting but the execution is pretty poor.
