It's an interesting idea for a horror flick. A teenager discovers that a demonic horoscope hotline gives him demonic powers. Feeding his own corruption to punish his bullies, and gradually turns him into a monster. It was just an okay underrated film.

I have a soft spot for this movie since seeing it when it came out. It really worked when I was 12.

I expected this to be funnier and more creative given how it's directed by Freddy himself, Robert Englund. It's not a slog, and the direction and lighting are surprisingly good enough for him to have tried another go at horror direction, but it feels too much like Freddy.
