8/10 For Jimmy “B-Rabbit” Smith(Eminem) one and only film. It is really good. Showing a sense of naturalism through a biographical story of his Dark life and even reaching a non-rap audience. With Eminem’s performance, it is truly one that you could “Lose Yourself” over.

Eminem is surprisingly great in this. What you’d think would come off as a vanity project ends up being a gritty drama that feels authentic. I appreciated the working-class Detroit setting and struggling artist narrative. The rap battle scenes are the best!
