Did not see that ending coming. This was stupidly hilarious at times and shockingly endearing in others. A snapshot life lesson tale in the same vein as A Christmas Story with the heart and comedy (and general location) of John Hughes’ stories.

This feels like a modern A Christmas Story with the storytelling of The Princess Bride and a group of friends like The Goonies. This gives you all the Gen X feels you can handle! A must watch every year from now on!

It’s a decent Christmas time watch but it feels like a derivative copy of A Christmas Story. The ending is so good and made the movie imo.

Thought it was either a Minecraft Christmas move or a Christmas movie about a kid with 8 dads but instead it was a boring snooze fest movie about how a guy got a gaming system which is boring and not a good plot

I mean it was good but for 2021 kinda meh
