I literally could not finish this movie . I hate hate hate Summer . Mainly because Tom is cute .

really good realistic movie. lovely lesson. love the idea of the storyline not being chronological. story is creatively told. fun and witty dialogue. great acting and great chemistry between the main couple.

i cant explain it but this movie feels like a musical without the singing (or at least sober singing ☠️ ) also tom is the realest male protagonist ever n hes so adorable

8.4 - hits differently with each watch, depending where you are in your own life. But always feels real. I love the disjointed timeline structure, the stylistic shifts, & the subversion of typical rom-com resolutions. JGL/ZD are fantastic together. An easy recommendation.

They were right about this being a horror movie

i love this movie but tom pissed me off. she was clear about her boundaries but i think he really never truly listened to her. i think he projected his loneliness onto her/interpreted everything to be what he wanted it to be. genuinely an amazing watch, worth the hype.

HOW IS IT EVEN AN ARGUMENT. SHE IS THE BAD GUY. woman in male fields. SHE TURNED INTO HIM AND HE TURNED INTO HER. she knew what she was doing.

It’s not about who was right or not. They both were wrong Tom loved her before he even knew her completely and Summer said she does not want a boyfriend but her actions keep pulling Tom in. Like in life, summer goes and autumn comes.

There was like no communication between Summer and Tom at all. The whole thing was just frustrating and confusing to watch. She wasn’t looking for a bf but got married to a diff guy a few months later? Like i get that feelings are feelings but come on, it was just sad to watch.

their relationship is one of my worst nightmares. pretty realistic though. she said multiple times she doesn’t want anything serious and he does, yet he continued pursuing her then got sad…? valid response to the whole marriage thing tho, must’ve hurt like helllll.
