Slow buildup but works well, also its based on a true story which fascinates me so fuckin much. Not the best adaptation of the story but pretty interesting how they combined mythology and the actual story.

5.9/10 it’s not the best, a lot of tidbits thrown in to see what sticks. Acting is sub par but it’s not as bad as people say. Could’ve used more action and potentially more of the fantasy side (or none of it) just felt rushed and not well thought out

Molto bello, Keanu Reeves nelle storie di vendetta/rivalsa è perfetto. Mi è piaciuta la componente fantasy alla monster hunter e lo stile prettamente asiatico, tra i migliori film occidentali sui samurai secondo me

I like this type of film, where the story is based on true events. However, I didn’t like the last part, where Kay fought against the witch — the fight was too fast and the script was poorly written.
In my opinion, Kay shouldn’t have had a beard.
Apart from that, it’s not bad.
