horrible movie that misrepresents sharks in a horrible light. sharks do not do this. you have more of a chance to win the lottery than get attcked by a shark. also this movie sucks. did i mention this movie sucks. i hate this movie. horrible. horror movies are so bad 90% of the t

when did i say i dont like shark movies..? i actually rly enjoyed this one. like a lot, not too sharky. feels more impending doom & fear of the deep dark unknown than oh no a crazy killer shark ate my friends. considering i dont like creature features, this & crawl do it for meh.

It was pretty good. Had a predictable twist I would say. I did like the part when they lit up the flare and there were sharks surrounding them, it was a cool shot. Good acting.

i was going to mark this as “meh” before i started reading some of the takes people have about it.

about halfway in i had to google who dies because it was stressing me out lol and a reddit post said “kate is seemingly killed by the shark” and i was like “oh so it’s gonna be a hallucination thing where she dies but lisa thinks she doesn’t because trauma”

then the captain lowered the second tanks and mentioned hallucinations so “oh! here we go!” the shark swims at kate’s head! it’s very obvious she dies there. and the camera circling lisa to show time was passing was a dead giveaway that she was hallucinating. i could have caught those without spoiling it for myself.

the way the shark swam at kate would have messed up her head, torso, and/or arm, not her leg like it was when lisa “found” her

and a comment on that post was complaining about how lisa was just reduced to a giggling mess. she was laughing because she thought they made it out. laughing after something traumatic happens is very common be so for real
