It stars Roman Dolidze as “badass” spartan, bold choice—but it pays off as the Spartans all pull guard and butt-scoot towards their enemies. Hes a soft lil lover boy with abs.

After watching 'Gladiator', I wanted more. Not expecting the same level as Ridley Scott, but mythology-wise Zack Synder nails what I unrealistically think of the Romans. I've given up trusting what's true and false in Hollywood movies, so purely based on entertainment, I was well entertained. The slow motion works so well with the brutality and mythicality. If you know Zack Synder movies, you know what to expect. If you don't then you'll quickly find out. I wish the designs were slightly different on certain characters because it made it look like a GCSE drama. The casting is awful but they made me feel the passion.

Tbh I was skeptical of this one at first but ended up really enjoying it, there wasn’t a single second that felt like a waste and it was pretty well made for its time!

the most testosterone i’ve ever felt in a single film. i’m so gassed up rn i did 100 pushups. one of if not the best gerard butler performance i’ve ever witnessed. such incredible editing for a 2007 film. the color pallet is iconic, those gold yellowish colors mwah. the cinematography is also phenomenal, they cooked so hard with the transitions. the wardrobe, the sfx, vfx, and score were all so damn good. my only ick was the mole creepy ass looking thing, lowkey disturbing to watch lol. in conclusion this is the most alpha male film i’ve ever watched. 8.5 / 10

This movie is elite. From start to finish, you’re being presented constant action and in result you end up watching the whole movie on the edge of your seat

Loved this movie even though i had to overlook the incredibly inaccurate history, racist portrayals and dramatic effects. The colour grading and visual effects take a bit of time getting used to but its what makes this so unique.
If testosterone was a movie it would be this.

Zach Snyder kills it with his movies. The visuals are amazing and the story is great. This one especially. Gotta watch it

7.7/10 If testosterone was a movie. I could’ve used with a little less weirdness and more realism, but this movie is stylish, has great action and choreography, and has a simple to follow plot (which isn’t always a bad thing). A great popcorn flick. Recommend

That was absolutely amazing. That ending almost brought me to tears and I’m not a cryer when it comes to movies. I need to watch more of Gerard Butler’s work. “THIS. IS. SPARTA!”
