It doesn't necessarily explain why they say yes though, just because they can obey doesn't mean they aren't going to fall in the hands of wrong people and do...bad things.
Still, gives us more context, I wish it was like a minute or two longer but overall ok

Very good setup for the events of Blade Runner 2049. Super short but very suspenseful. Definitely watch this before watching 2049, it’s important to the story
