5/10–so i don’t really know who nick cave is and even after watching this entire movie i still don’t tbh. dude has some cool ideas about song-writing and writing in general though. also very cool cinematography, i’m definitely not the right person to fully appreciate it though

A fascinating portrait of the creative process. It’s not quite a documentary but not quite a movie. There’s a script involved and it’s very well shot (too well shot for a doc) and some of the dialogue comes off convincingly real.
