One of the best and most sad documentaries I’ve ever seen. Really explains and breaks down well the prison complex and how it affects black people. Also very well spoken people giving explanations in here. Real eye opening doc that adds on a lot of overlooked info. 8.5/10

While I will agree that the documentary was well put together, I have to say, the entire thing just felt heavily biased to me. Some of the facts they state are true, but others are worded to make one side look bad. There was little effort to present an objective take. 2.4/10!!!!!

A very thought-provoking and well put together documentary. I’m very glad Netflix made this publicly accessible.

I really hope they show this as much as they say they do in schools in the United States.

10/10 - Great documentary! Does a really in depth job of showing the U.S.A’s prison system, school to prison pipeline, lots of statistics and more. Worth the watch, easy for the viewer to understand and consume!

8/10 really brilliant documentary, it’s keeps the narrative really well and isn’t too slow which I often find to be the case for documentaries in general PLUS THE CONTENT! yes this is why critical rase theory is necessary
