Even though the movie takes place in a single location I didn’t lose interest even once. The characters are absolutely astounding, and would make for the perfect character studies. In just a few minutes I could already tell them all apart as they were so memorable.

Incredible. The characters in this movie were written with incredible depth.

If you’re wondering how intense a movie about 12 men talking in a single room can be, this will shock you. A brilliant exploration of preconceived notions, personal biases, and what we think is right or wrong, carried by some of the most powerful performances I’ve ever seen.

I had to watch this movie for a business class i had it was honestly pretty interesting for an old film wish it wasn’t black and white but was a unique experience i would recommend it. Juror number 3 was hella annoying lowkey. Acting was great

9.5 - It’s always fun when you can introduce an all time classic to someone for the first time. My wife hadn’t ever seen this and getting her to watch anything this old is a rarity so when she picked it while scrolling options, I couldn’t say no.

It’s still incredible, & still one of the best mise-en-scene examples I’ve seen.

I was a little more bothered on this rewatch at how many of the jurors were as much pushovers in the other direction as they were at the start, changing their minds as easily as they’d made them up in the court room. It amps up some reverse dramatic irony (is that the term?).

Definitely thinking this time the biggest failure here is the part of the lazy, or unmotivated, or unskilled defense lawyer - for sure almost sent that kid to his death.

I think now, with this being my 3rd or 4th watch the tension has dwindled just enough & I wasn’t as gripped as the other viewings. Dropping it slightly in my overall rankings, but still a pure classic through & through.

(SPOILERS!!!) I love love LOVE this movie! I really like how well done the movie shows how every character slowly (and in their own way) give up on thinking the easier way beacuse of their own personal reason and at the end let go of the court and bad lawyer belief. And also the-

The film takes a confined, almost completely banal real-world location and makes it completely dynamic, using incredibly nimble camera movements to establish character motivation and theme.

Was interesting to see how each character based their opinion on different factors, and how that same factor was used against them when changing their opinions

Magnificent plot. Everyone was useful in the interpretation of every possible character. Every person was from a side of the community and point of view. I believe at the end the point is that nobody can be sure of anything. 9.5/10

10/10 This movie is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. It remains so relevant because it challenges us to see past our biases and think objectively on the impact our decisions make on the lives of others. I had chills as the movie ended and sat in silence during the credits.

I can never watch another movie again. Phenomenal. Amazing. Outstanding. Top of its class.

Honestly, i didn’t think i would love the movie but i was proven wrong, i loved the movie so much the characters and their arguments were all so interesting, and scary. Only one of them was willing to sit and discuss, if not him the boy would’ve faced the chair.

It was really scary hearing the racially motivated argument. “they don’t care about human life like we do. They are not like us. They don’t deserve the life that they were given.” Oh my lord, to only think about the real life cases is breaking my heart.

And the father who was willing to put a kid to the chair just because of his ego and narcissism no wonder your kid doesn’t speak to you.

When they were down to 6-6 everyone who voted guilty did so out of stubbornness, They didn’t give a fuck if he did it or not they just wanted to do it their way.

i'v just rewatched it after 3 years and i realized how incredible that movie is, the discussion has that kind of philosophy in deep human nature to every one of them . those who seeks the truth and those who seeks their comfort. loved it . 12/12
