Thought it was gonna be wayyyyy better, maybe it’s because I watched it on a plane and I have to give it another go but I remember being disappointed after watching this.

At first I kept thinking “yeah but where are the aliens?” but that guy was so terrifying that I actually started to believe that there were no aliens and that it was an abduction story lol

girl could not catch a break

mostly lives up to the insane hype; the buildup is intense yet comforting, which is perfect for a film of this genre. john goodman is amazing as always alongside a pretty stellar script and impressive effects. minimalist ‘horror’ doing its job well
