Very good movie… ending broke me to pieces. I honestly really liked sonny and c’s father/son relationship. Even though being involved with the gangster/mafia lifestyle and subjected to violence etc sonny still made sure c had his head on straight and kept him out of trouble.

i would’ve put that i loved it if only C didn’t call Jane’s brother a dirty stinky nasty nigger and then she just started talking to him like it didn’t happen. and this was 1993 like that was not long enough ago for that to be ok. but movie was good otherwise.

First hour and a half was really great, nothing crazy, but a unique take on the genre.
The last half an hour kinda made things messy, like his girl should not have forgiven him so easy—she had no reason to at all.
Also wanted to see more of the dad
