Wes Anderson’s style is so mesmerizing and unique. The cinematography was outstanding and had an amazing cast. I could never take my eyes off the screen and it’s something I would definitely watch again. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and highly recommend to anyone

This movie was unreasonably funny for such a serious tone

A relatively dry humored film with great storytelling. I enjoyed this movie, however, it did not live up the expectations that have been set for it. IMO, it was not as good as I had heard, but I really enjoyed some of the humor. I was expecting a little more than a quaint tale.

not a single thing wrong with this movie. that’s it.

I think it’s one of the best movie I have ever seen the cinematography is just perfect with the changes of color and the symmetry it’s just perfect if you want to watch an aesthetic movie to feel relaxed intrigued and joyful this is it because even the plot is amazing and voila .

This movie earned my highest respects. So much so that I deem it disrespectful to comment anything other than praise.

Looks amazing but i found it incredibly boring

The cinematography and settings are beautiful. This movie uses great color and camera work to make the movie wonderful. It is a very enjoyable shorter movie.

My favorite character(s): Monsieur Gustave and young Zero.

My favorite scene: The will reading and stealing of painting.

please let me spend one day with Wes Anderson 😭

Not my type of filming, but if you like these things, I think you will love it. Either you like it or you hate it.

9/10 Absolutely brilliant!! One of the most cinematically breathtaking films I’ve ever watched. Almost feels like no time goes by when you watch it as it’s super fun and easy to be swept away by the plot. The LUT/coloring on this is spectacular, no one does it like Wes Anderson.

Slow and boring, no point to it, a few funny scenes but not many

this was such a good movie. first wes anderson always has a very specific vibe to his movies that i adore. then there was zero and gustave, i think ralph and whoever were perfect for those roles. then the story itself was good and interesting as well. overall really good. mhmmmmm

Such a nice and sweet movie.
Line delivery is incredible, the script itself isn’t that funny—but how it’s filmed, acted, and especially edited makes it hilarious.

Crazy cast as well
Gustav’s such a great character
