At times visually striking but very narratively underwhelming.
Could and should have been at least 35 minutes shorter. Also, if my bike ever broke down and I was late to an appointment, I’d fucking walk the rest of the way not just sit and wait for someone to give me their bike

What a masterpiece!! Mix Call Me By Your Name with The Talented Mr Ripley and you get this gem. It’s oozing sex, full of manipulation and puppetry, but feels so honest, raw, and bare throughout. It does push the envelop of discomfort, especially in the second act, but a must see

6.1 - all style, no substance. It’s loud, opulent, erotic, & sometimes fun thriller. But it’s also very shallow, & overfull of forced shock moments that don’t actually make the statements they’re trying to. Clips will dominate social media soon, but for all the wrong reasons.

5/10 I know some people like this and I can understand why, but I don’t know how people can defend some scenes. The acting and directing were great, but the movie is bogged down by scenes made solely for shock value and made to be outright disgusting. Shit was ass I’m sorry

Visually stunning and mentally a whiplash. This had the theater goers gasping and pacing the aisles. Barry went freak mode on this one 🛀 🧛🩸 🪦 IYKYK

Saltburn is not near as clever as it thinks and the shocking moments seem to only exist merely to get people talking. The awkward characters, witty dialogue, interesting setting and slick production; are more than enough to keep viewers engaged.

I haven’t been captivated like this by a movie in a very long time. Start to finish I was hooked. Incredible directing an acting with an absolutely INSANE story. I already want to rewatch
