A Nightmare on Elm Street

If you can make a generation scared to go to bed you did your fucking job as a horror movie. As this is the only good one in this franchise, I loved it. This is proof you don’t need a big budget to make a good movie. Freddy was just scary dude. Plus good cast of characters. 8/10.

Finally watched this classic! Supernatural visual effects were cheesy, but there were a lot of iconic scenes. The most disturbing was the phone scene… Krueger is a pervert

Movies like nightmare on elm street remind me how older scary classics just hit different in a better way than most new horror movies cannot

I kike this one better than the remake

I’ve seen the later Nightmare on Elm Street movies growing up. For the first movie in the franchise, this was great. I do like Freddy’s costume design in Freddy vs Jason the most but he didn’t look bad on this movie.

I like the high quality grainy look that 80s movies have. It’s give a subtle nostalgic feel, directors should add it in more movies. Speaking about looks, the effects in this movie were amazing. The CGI were great but the practical effects had me questioning how they did them. The entire movie had a realistic look, for the most part.

None of them deserved that but one of them were too unreliable, like you had one job. They were starting to get on my nerves. This was a great movie, I’ll definitely watch the rest.
